Joshua Falek
Joshua Falek is a PhD Candidate in Gender, Feminist and Women’s Studies at York University, Toronto, Canada. Their research explores the relations and contingencies between non-binary embodiment, state recognition, and anti-Black colonial and carceral affective infrastructures through trans studies, Black studies, Indigenous Studies, affect theory, and critical psychology. They have two kittens named Joey and Charlie. Their work has been published in the Canadian Journal of Disability Studies, Cultural Studies, and Rhizomes. For more information.
