Maria Jose Pernas Rodriguez
Maria Jose Pernas Rodriguez is a third-year undergraduate student from the Dominican Republic in the Specialized Honours Psychology program at York University, Toronto, Canada. She is currently part of the Psychology's Feminist Voices team, as well as a research assistant at Dr. Esther Grenglass' social psychology lab.
Some of her interests include mental health, developmental psychology, social justice, human rights, intercultural communication, feminist theory, critical studies of psychology, social psychology, and sustainability. She is particularly interested in media influences on body image and female sexual reproductive rights.
