Vanessa "V" Bragagnolo
V Bragagnolo is a PhD student in the Gender, Feminist & Women’s Studies program at York University, Toronto, Canada. Bragagnolo’s Master’s research project in Gender Studies & Feminist Research consisted of a cross-Ontario analysis of the existing universities’ sexual violence policies created after the implementation of Bill 132, with a specific focus on the resolution methods laid out in the policies. V Bragagnolo is passionate about deconstructing legislation that upholds popular narratives of violence in order to better provide survivors with long-term support options. Their research interests include the theorizing of violence, social politics, and how trauma informs activist work.
