Nina Franke
Nina Franke is a graduate student in Social Psychology at Sigmund Freud PrivatUniversiät Vienna and graduate student in Gender Studies at the University of Vienna. Franke is a research assistant in Dr. Nora Ruck's research project “The Psychological is Political : A recent history of feminist psychology in Vienna, 1972- 2000”. She is interested in interdisciplinary connections between psychological, feminist and sociological research. Nina is passionate about a critical approach to reflect psychological knowledge and to include social contexts more strongly. During her studies, she worked as representative for feminist issues in the Austrian national students' association and in various feminist collectives. In 2018 she became a certified trainer for group contexts (communication, conflict management, group dynamics, supervision) and wants to pursue a teaching and mediating career in addition to research.
